Maintenance of customer master data

As it was done before

Our financial services provider client was doing a lot of manual updating of customer master data. Colleagues were comparing the data (e.g. address) in the extracted Excel reports with the information available in a 3rd party company database.

This is what happens today

The robot reads the report containing the master data and then queries the customers one by one in the 3rd party company database. The discrepancies are recorded in a result report, which is sent to the team leader by email.

Customer benefit

The human time spent on checking the master data has been reduced by about 4 hours per day. The risk of non-payment has also been reduced thanks to the updated master data.
